Tom is a really nice guy.  He is also a self-proclaimed “Baseball Zealot.”  He is such a zealot that he puts together a podcast to discuss all things baseball.  You can find him at www.baseballzealot.com and listen to his podcasts.

Why do I bring this up?  Because in addition to being a great guy to listen to and an expert on baseball, Tom was kind enough to interview me for his podcast this week and let me talk at length about this website and what I am trying to do here.

The one problem I saw was that I was on a cell phone and this caused the call to fade out suddenly while I was in the middle of talking.  I hate it when that happens and I hope Tom was able to get enough audio out of it and put together something good.

I cannot thank Tom enough for letting me talk and for making me a guest on his show.  He was very nice and it was a lot of fun.  If all of the interviews I have had to do went that well and were that much fun, you’d never get me to stop doing interviews.

Tom is based out of the Urbana Illinois area.  Despite being a Cubs fan, I have to count myself among the fans of the Baseball Zealot.  We zealots need to stick together.
