It’s probably no secret that of all of the sports covered here at Chicago Minor League Review, I am a particular fan of baseball. So, it is with that in mind that I reached out to some people who cover the baseball scene looking for chances to promote the site.
Well, quite honestly, if you are a fan of baseball and you are not familiar with “The Baseball Zealot” now is your chance to get yourself familiar.
The Baseball Zealot is a mane from Urbana Illinois named Tom. Quite honestly, his site is what I dream this site will become. Whether it is major league baseball, minor league baseball or college baseball, he has it covered.
From his website (www.thebaseballzealot.com):
“The purpose of the Zealot is not necessarily to report on every single baseball news item out there. The major news outlets do a good job of that already (well, usually). The Zealot is here just draw attention to baseball goings-on that I might interesting, thought-provoking, maddening, or just strange. I also like to throw-in a few obscure, off-the-wall stuff to make the site that much more interesting. Finally, if there is a baseball resource out there on the web that not everyone may be aware of, I like to bring up front. Keep in mind, the target audience of the The Baseball Zealot is not just the seasoned veteran of baseball blogs but also those baseball fans out there finding their way around the Internet.”
In addition to the amazing site and well-written articles, he also has a podcast. I am honored that he has asked me if I would like to partake of his podcast next week, even for just a few minutes to talk about Chicago Minor League Report. He was also kind enough to write about this site on his website (you can click HERE for a link).
So, thanks Tom and I look forward to speaking with you. I urge you to check out his site and listen to his podcasts. We baseball nuts need to stick together.
