I swear to you that I plan on writing more feature articles. I also want to spend some time explaining who the heck I am and why I created this website. I have heard from some other bloggers that regular blog readers find that interesting. We shall see if my life story is really all that fascinating.
Fortunately, last night there was not much as far as playing going on. Both the Northern League and Frontier Leagues took the night off. This leaves only the Midwest League and the Kane County Cougars.
The Northern League and Frontier Leagues all return to play tonight. Calgary is at Schaumbug. Gary is at Kansas City. Joliet is at Fargo-Moorehead.
As far at the Frontier League goes Windy City is at Southern Illinois. Rockford is at home and welcoming Evansville.
THE MIDWEST LEAGUE (AFFILIATED TEAM)
The Kane County Cougars
The Cougars bounced back from some frustrating losses against the Peoria Chiefs last night. In fact, they completely shut out the Peoria team while racking up impressive offensive numbers. Cougars pitcher Trevor Cahill pitched six innings of solid shut-out baseball. Hitter Sean Doolittle, meanwhile, hit two home runs for the Cougars.
FINAL SCORE: Cougars 10 Chiefs 0
