I missed a posting yesterday!  Sorry about that folks, the weekend just kind of got away from me.  One the positive side, the weather here was good and there was a lot of great baseball.  Barry Bonds got his 755 home run and was booed by many outside of San Fran.

For those of us who are fans of the minor leagues, though, the season is heating up along with the temps and here are the scores

THE NORTHERN LEAGUE

There are no games scheduled for tonight throughout the Northern League.

The Gary SouthShore Railcats and Joliet Jackhammers

Gary and Joliet played all weekend.  The Saturday game ended with another loss for the Railcats.  The Sunday game has been postponed due to foul weather in the area.

The Schaumburg Flyers

The Flyers also experienced some foul weather, but in reverse from the Railcats.  Their Saturday game was postponed, which lead to a double-header on Sunday.  The Flyers and Cracker-Cats ended up splitting the double-header.

THE FRONTIER LEAGUE

The Windy City Thunderbolts

At this point I am betting the Thunderbolts wished both of their games could have been rained out this weekend.  They finished their series with the Washington Wild Things on Saturday with a loss.  They then headed back home and welcomed the Traverse City Beach Bums on Sunday, only to lose that one as well.

The Rockford Riverhawks

The Riverhawks continued to find the struggling and sad Slippery Rock Sliders a bit of a challenge as they finished their series with them on Saturday.  The Riverhawks then were hoping to get on the winning track again on Sunday against Kalamazoo, but that was post-poned due to the weather.

The Kane County Cougars

The Cougars continued their winning streak on Saturday, facing off against the Great Lakes Loons.  They then really opened the hitting floodgates on Sunday to pound the Loons.
