The weather looks great for this coming weekend here in Chicago.  It may be a little warm, but the weather guys are not predicting any rain.  It might be the perfect opportunity to pack up the family and check out a minor league game.

The Kane County Cougars are at home this weekend.  They are playing the Peoria Chiefs again Friday night.  Saturday night they play the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and they play the Timber Rattlers again on Sunday afternoon.

The Windy City Thunderbolts are in town this weekend as well.  Friday night they finish up their series against the River City Rascals.  The teams have split a game apiece so far.  Then Saturday night and Sunday afternoon they face off against the Gateway Grizzlies.  The Grizzlies are coming off of a winning series against the Rockford Riverhawks.

The Rockford Riverhawks are out of town this weekend.  They finish up their series tonight against the Gateway Grizzlies, hoping to salvage a game against them.  They then move across town to face the River City Rascals both Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.  You can always tune into the Riverhawks games by visiting www.wnta.com.

The Schaumburg Flyers have two more games against Calgary on Friday and Saturday nights.  Both of them are evening games.  They finish up this four game series against Calgary on Sunday afternoon at home at Alexian Field.

The Joliet Jackhammers are at home all weekend against Silver Cross Field.  They play the Edmonton Cracker-Cats Friday and Saturday evening.  They play again late Sunday afternoon.

The Gary Southshore Railcats stay at home at the U.S. Steel Yard.  They continue to play against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Friday and Saturday evening.  They play an afternoon game on Sunday.

In other sports, the Rock River Raptors indoor football team is away.  They play against the Sioux Falls Storm on Saturday at 7:05 p.m.  You can hear their games streaming online at www.espn1180.com.

The Kane County Eagles do not play this weekend.  Their next game is a home game scheduled for July 14.

On the 9th the Chicago Rush Arena Football team face off against The Lost Angeles Avengers.  The Rush is rapidly wrapping up their season and preparing for playoff action.  They are at home this weekend at the All State Arena.
