It was a boiling hot weekend here in Chicago.  We are approaching the mid-season point for the minor league baseball teams around here.  In fact, the baseball teams have mostly broken for the All-Star break in their respective leagues.  I also spent the weekend showing a friend around town.

SO…I am WAYYY behind in my updates here.  So, let’s start now with the baseball teams and what they did all weekend long.

Northern League

The Northern League All-Star game is on July 10.  They have a break from the 9th to the 11th.  The game is being played at the Fargo-Moorhead stadium.  More information is available at www.northernleague.com.

Schaumburg Flyers

They finished up their four-game series with the Calgary Vipers.  It was a rough weekend for the Flyers, it seems.

The ‘Bolts finished their series against the River City Rascals on Friday and then entered a series with the Gateway Grizzlies.
